Create a PGA One & Done – Dollar Winnings (Splash-Managed Real-Money)

This guide walks you through creating a Splash-Managed PGA One & Done – Dollar Winnings contest.

Updated over 2 months ago

In this format:

• Entrants select one golfer per tournament
• Each golfer’s official tournament earnings count toward their total
• The entrant with the highest total dollar winnings across selected tournaments wins
• Splash collects entry fees and automatically distributes payouts

Step 1: Contest Information

Contest Title (Required)

Enter the official name of your contest.

Example: 2026 PGA One & Done – Dollar Winnings

This is what entrants will see when joining.

Contest Description

Use this section to explain:

• Special house rules
• Player use limits
• Payout structure
• Whether Tour Championship is included
• Any multiplier rules

Clear descriptions reduce confusion once play begins.

Contest Banner (Optional)

Upload a banner to personalize your contest.

Requirements:

• Maximum file size: 4 MB
• Recommended dimensions: 2880 x 170 pixels
• File types: PNG, JPG, JPEG

Step 2: Gameplay Settings

Sport & Game Style

Select:

• Sport: PGA
• Game Style: One & Done – Dollar Winnings

Schedule

You can choose:

• All PGA Events
• Exclude specific events (e.g., The Genesis Invitational)
• Manually select your slates

Important:

The slates you select determine which tournaments require picks.

Prizes are distributed after all selected tournaments are completed. This contest does not pay out weekly.

Tour Championship Option

You will be asked:

Would you like to include the Tour Championship? Will need to click to include or exclude.

Note: The Tour Championship purse is typically at least 3x larger than other events. Including it may heavily impact final standings.

Select Starting Tournament

The earliest tournament you select becomes the official start of your contest.

Important:

• All entrants must join before the first selected tournament begins
• Late entry is not permitted once the contest starts

Step 3: Entry Settings

Entry Fee

Select your entry fee amount.

Splash will:

• Collect entry fees
• Handle payment processing
• Automatically distribute payouts

Commissioner Rewards (Optional)

If you opt in:

• Splash deducts 7.5% for payment processing & administrative fees
• An additional 5% of the prize pool is paid directly to you

This option compensates you for organizing and managing your contest.

Payout Structure

You may choose to:

• Pay out overall winners only
• Create payout segments
• Pay out individual tournament winners

Important:

To create payout segments, your contest must include at least 4 tournaments.

“I’ll Collect Entries and Handle Payouts on My Own”

Selecting this option allows you to:

• Track cuts and FedEx points
• Export leaderboard data
• Make edits after the contest begins (such as removing tournaments or deleting segments)

Note: This converts the contest into a self-managed structure.

Contest Size

Select your projected contest size.

If you do not reach that number, your contest will automatically size down.

Step 4: Contest Details

General Settings

Chat

Toggle on or off to allow in-contest messaging between entrants.

Step 5: Advanced Settings

These settings allow customization of gameplay.

Players Picked Per Tournament

Select:

• 1 player (traditional One & Done)
• Up to 5 players per tournament

Player Use Limit

Control how many times a golfer can be selected:

• 1 time
• 2–10 times
• Unlimited

Tournament Multipliers

You may adjust scoring weight per tournament.

Example:

• 2x multiplier for majors
• 3x multiplier for Tour Championship

Multipliers increase that event’s impact on total standings.

Alternate Picks

If enabled:

Entrants must select a backup golfer.

If the primary golfer does not play, the alternate will automatically replace them.

This helps prevent missed earnings due to withdrawals or non-starts.

Automatic Picks (Autopicks)

If enabled:

• Entrants can set autopick logic
• If they miss a deadline, a golfer will be automatically selected for them

You may allow:

• Unlimited autopicks
• 1–5 autopicks total

Entrants may adjust their autopick preferences at any time before deadlines.

How Winners Are Determined

At the conclusion of all selected tournaments:

• Official PGA earnings are totaled
• The entrant with the highest cumulative dollar winnings wins
• If payout segments are enabled, segment winners are paid accordingly

Splash distributes all payouts automatically once scoring is finalized.
