Splash: NCAAB - Can I Edit My Entry Deadline?

Yes — but there are important timing rules.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

General Editing Rules

All contest settings can be edited up until 24 hours before the first game of the contest begins, with two exceptions:

  • Pick Objective cannot be edited

  • Combining Days 7 & 8 cannot be edited

Once the contest begins, no settings can be changed.

Double Picks

If your contest includes Double Picks:

  • The first slate can be added

  • The first slate cannot be removed

Entry Deadline Rules (Special Timing Applies)

The Entry Deadline has additional rules beyond the standard 24-hour window.

Pushing the Deadline Back (Later Time)

The deadline can be pushed back until the original deadline passes.

Example:
If the entry deadline is Thursday at 12:15 PM ET, the commissioner has until Thursday at 12:15 PM ET to change it — but it can only be moved to a time later than 12:15 PM ET.

Moving the Deadline Up (Earlier Time)

The deadline can be moved earlier only if the change is made at least 24 hours in advance.

Example:
If the entry deadline is Thursday at 10:00 PM ET and the commissioner wants to move it to Thursday at 12:15 PM ET, they must make that change by Wednesday at 12:15 PM ET.

Important Reminder

After the contest begins, no settings — including the entry deadline — can be modified.
