Entertainment-Only NCAAB Survivor Contest Pick Deadline

The Pick Deadline determines the final point at which members can submit or modify their picks in your Survivor contest.

Updated over a week ago

What the Pick Deadline Controls

This deadline is the cutoff after which:

  • Members can no longer submit picks

  • Existing picks cannot be changed

  • The slate is considered locked

Any participant who has not submitted a valid pick by the deadline may be eliminated (depending on contest rules).

Default (and Only) Setting

For Entertainment-Only NCAAB Survivor contests, the pick deadline is fixed:

๐Ÿ‘‰ First game each day

This means:

  • Picks must be submitted before the first game of that day begins

  • Once the first game tips off, picks for that day are locked

There are no alternative pick-deadline configurations for this format.

Important Timing Rule

Even if multiple games are scheduled for the day:

  • Any games that occur before your pick deadline must be picked before kickoff

  • Late picks are not allowed once the first game has started

Participants should submit picks early to avoid missing the deadline.

Why This Rule Exists

Using the first game of the day as the deadline ensures:

  • Fair play for all entrants

  • No advantage from seeing early game results

  • Consistent timing across the contest

Best Practices for Members

To avoid elimination due to missed picks:

  • Submit picks well before game time

  • Confirm selections are saved

  • Check daily schedules for early tip-offs

Summary

The pick deadline in an Entertainment-Only NCAAB Survivor contest is the start of the first game each day. After that moment, picks are locked and no further submissions or changes are allowed, making timely participation essential for survival.
