Member Names Visibility - How to Show or Hide Member Names in Your NCAAB Survivor Contest

The Member Names Visible setting controls whether participants’ real names are displayed within your pool. This allows commissioners to choose between full transparency and a more private or anonymous experience.

Where to Find This Setting

To enable or disable member name visibility:

  1. Open the Commissioner Console

  2. Navigate to Pool Settings

  3. Select Display Settings

  4. Locate Member Names Visible

  5. Turn the option On or Off as desired


When Member Names Visible Option Is ON

When enabled:

  • Members’ actual names will be displayed

  • Names appear under Pool Info → Pool Entries

  • Participants can see who is in the pool

This setting is ideal for office pools, friends groups, or contests where participants know each other.


When Member Names Visible Is OFF

When disabled:

  • Real names are hidden

  • Only entry names or usernames may be shown

  • Participant identities remain private

This option is useful for larger public pools or situations where anonymity is preferred.


Why Use This Setting?

Commissioners may adjust visibility to:

  • Protect participant privacy

  • Prevent identification in public pools

  • Encourage friendly competition in private groups

  • Align with organizational policies
