The timeframe for a QuickPicks contest to match depends on several factors, including the entry fee amount, the number of picks submitted, and the number of sporting events on the calendar. Entries with fewer picks (typically 2–4) tend to match faster because they are more compatible with a larger pool of opponents. Similarly, lower entry fees increase the likelihood of finding compatible opponents, as more players participate in these ranges. Additionally, the availability of sporting events and market demand can influence matching times, especially during off-seasons or periods with fewer sports.
Upon submitting your picksheet (entry), Splash Sports will automatically and randomly attempt to match it with other valid entries of the same roster length and entry fee. While most contests match within 24 to 48 hours, delays may occur if there are too few entries or if the picks are from slates with non-overlapping game times. So, matching can take longer than 48 hours. It is also normal for entries to show as partially matched for some time, such as being around 78% matched, especially during periods of low activity or for entries with higher pick counts.
Matching is not guaranteed within a specific period and is contingent upon user participation. To improve your chances of faster matching, consider submitting entries with fewer picks (2–4) and opting for lower entry fees. Additionally, be patient during off-seasons or periods of low activity, as matching times may naturally be longer.
