The Splash Estimate is a ballpark valuation for an entry in the Marketplace. It gives buyers and sellers a general sense of what an entry might be worth at any given moment.
How it's calculated:
Splash Estimate = Prize Pool ÷ Number of Entries Still Alive
As the field narrows and fewer entries remain, the Splash Estimate for surviving entries goes up — reflecting the increased share of the prize pool each entry represents.
Important to know:
The Splash Estimate is a reference point, not a guaranteed value. Actual trade prices may be higher or lower depending on what buyers and sellers agree on.
It's updated after weekly scoring, not in real time.
It's used as a benchmark in the Sell Now warning — if a standing offer is 20% or more below the Splash Estimate, you'll see a caution notice before accepting.
