Creating and scheduling games

Create a game, set the teams and put it on the schedule.

📍 Where to find it: Games → Upload Videos tab → + New game → Add New Game wizard

🔒 Who can do this: requires record permission.

Before you can upload video, the game has to exist in SportsVisio Manager. You can create a single game with the step-by-step wizard, or use the Schedule Wizard to generate a batch of games at once.

Before you start

  • You need the record permission (you're an admin or coach). If you don't see the + New game button, ask your league admin for access.

  • Make sure the correct Program, Season and Division are selected. See Choosing your context. New games land in the context you're in.

  • The + New game button is hidden for playoff seasons (those games come from the bracket).

Create a single game

  1. On the Games screen, stay on the Upload Videos tab and tap the + (New game) button.

  2. Step 1: Context: leave the toggle on Single game, then confirm the Season and Division dropdowns.

  3. Step 2: Home team: pick the Home team, check the jersey preview, and choose your team color under Select Your Team Color.

  4. Step 3: Away team: pick the Away team and its color. The away color can't match the home color.

  5. Step 4: Details: set the Date and Start Time (required), pick a Country & Timezone (required. You'll see "Pick a country and timezone to continue" until you do), and add optional Game Notes.

  6. Tap Next on the details step to schedule the game.

You'll see "Scheduled Successfully", "Your game has been created. Now you can view it under 'Upload Videos' and attach your videos for analysis by our team!", plus a note that "You'll receive an email the day of your game!". Tap See My Game to jump to it.

Schedule a batch (Schedule Wizard)

To create many games at once, flip the toggle on Step 1 to Schedule wizard. The Schedule Wizard walks through:

  1. Mode selector

  2. Time & capacity: set your slots; Next becomes Generate.

  3. Preview: review the generated games, then tap Create games.

  4. Result: you'll see Done when the slate is created.

Edit a game

Open the game to reach Game Detail and tap the pencil (edit) icon. You can change the teams, date and colors. Saving shows "Game edited successfully!".

Good to know

  • Uploading is a separate step. Once a game is scheduled, add your video. See How to upload your game video.

  • Expect a reminder email on game day for each scheduled game.
