When does my coverage take effect?

Your protection begins at 12:01 a.m. Standard Time at the location of your property the day after your account is created once payment is current and activation is completed.

There is a 30-day waiting period before full coverage under your membership plan begins (including protection against all accidental damages, device malfunctions/failures, or theft).

In situations where ample photo/video evidence is available and all photo verification steps have been correctly completed for your item, this waiting period may be waived for cracked screen and back damage but not for any other type of accidental damage, malfunctions, or theft.

Be sure to follow all the instructions in your account when adding photos and information for your items.
