It only takes a couple of minutes to set up and add your kids. We try and ask for the minimum info, but we also need to comply with all NZ laws and financial regulations. We keep everything secure and never share your data.

SquareOne = financially capable kids. We've built the app so you can get them started straight away, even if their physical cards still take a few days to arrive in the post.
1 - Load your parent wallet
Your parent wallet is 'home base' and is passcode / biometric protected, so only you can access it. Here you get an overview of all your kids, as well as managing things like their pocket money, payments, and the various parental controls. So start by tapping the menu icon, and then 'load parent wallet'. Adding your card is secure.
Setting up a recurring load is the easiest option. That way it's 'set + forget' and you don't need to come back here to keep topping up. For example, if you have 4 kids, and they each get $5 / week pocket money, then set up a recurring load of $20 / week. Nice + easy. You'll now see your balance at the top of your parent wallet.
2 - Set up weekly pocket money
Tap on your profile icon on the top left of your parent home screen and then select 'Manage Family'. Then, you can tap on your kid's name, and next to 'Pocket Money', there's an 'Edit' option. Just tap that and you can then enter the amount and frequency for the pocket money to be sent from your parent wallet to the kids' wallet.
If your parent wallet balance is too low, it'll auto-top up from your bank account to ensure that your kids are paid on time.
3 - Create jobs
From your parent wallet, tap 'new job' and add the details. This is also a great time to have a discussion with your kids around what your expectations are, and how they contribute at home. Every home is different, and SquareOne is the toolkit to help you manage things the way that suits you best. You can pay as much or as little as you like per job, and it's a great chance for your kids to hone their negotiating skills too.
