My card declined when loading the parent wallet

Sometimes when loading a parent wallet your card may decline and you'll see the message below:

Unfortunately we're unable to see exactly why transactions are declined so you'll need to contact your bank.

If you definitely have enough money in your account then one reason worth asking your bank is whether the transaction was declined because of 3D Secure (3DS). 3DS is an extra security step that asks the bank to make a number of additional checks about a transaction. Sometimes this means going through an additional security step like receiving an SMS, but sometimes it will cause a bank to decline a transaction.

When calling your bank you have the option to ask them to temporarily disable this check to allow the transaction to go through.
