DEX API | MAC ID support

We’ve expanded DEX API capabilities to support MAC ID registration requirements.

Enhancements include:

  • New MAC ID-related fields within Individual DSS records

  • Additional activity requirements to support MAC ID tracking

Performance & scalability | System stability under load

We made several infrastructure improvements to enhance system performance and reliability, especially during peak usage, including:

  • Improved connection handling

  • Increased default connection pool size

  • Better responsiveness during high-traffic periods

Database support | PostgreSQL 16 compatibility

Penelope now supports PostgreSQL 16.

This update includes:

  • Updated database drivers

  • Improved database synchronization functions

  • Optimized connection table indexing for improved performance

Observability | Enhanced monitoring

We've improved logging to support more effective system monitoring and troubleshooting, helping teams identify and resolve issues more efficiently.

DSS | Content updates

We updated wording for DSS circumstances and goals for improved clarity and consistency.

DSS | Service date validation

We resolved an issue affecting validation of service availableFrom dates during DSS updates.

Database compatibility | Migration and table updates

We've improved database migration compatibility, resolved column availability issues in EDI tables, and enhanced driver-specific checks.

NHI validation | New Zealand format update

We updated the Individual NHI format validation to align with the New Zealand standard (AA11A#).
