The Debit Reason page allows you to add, edit and remove Debit Reasons (e.g. Financial Charge, Error, NSF Charge etc). To access this page you will need to be logged into Penelope with a System Administrator account.
The Debit Reason field appears on the following report:

How to Add a Debit Reason
1. In the System Setup section select Billing.
2. In the Field Setup section select Debit Reason.
3. In the Active Values section click the Add link.
4. Enter a Value.
5. Click Save.
How to Edit a Debit Reason
1. In the System Setup section select Billing.
2. In the Field Setup section select Debit Reason.
3. In the Active/Inactive Values section click the name of the Debit Reason you would like to edit.
4. Edit the Value.
5. Click Save.
How to Make a Debit Reason Value Inactive
1. In the System Setup section select Billing.
2. In the Field Setup section select Debit Reason.
3. In the Active Values section click the minus (-) icon located next to the Debit Reason you would like to deactivate.
The Debit Reason will be moved to the Inactive Values section. If the Debit Reason is not in use it will be immediately deleted. This action cannot be reversed.
How to Make a Debit Reason Value Active
1. In the System Setup section select Billing.
2. In the Field Setup section select Debit Reason.
3. In the Inactive Values section click the plus (+) icon located next to the Debit Reason you would like to make activate.
