Here is a glossary to clarify which investment data that Standard Metrics can centralize and store to help you track your investments:

For All Investments

  • Company Name: the name of the company

  • Financing Round Name: the name of the round of financing, e.g. "Series A"

  • Close Date: The date the financing event closed.

  • Financing Type: The type of financing for this round. Priced equity round or convertible round. Use convertible for SAFE and KISS notes.

  • Fully Diluted Shares: The fully diluted share count at the close of the round


For Equity investments

  • Share Class: The name of the share class of the financing event. This is found in the Articles of Incorporation or Stock Purchase Agreement from the latest financing event.

  • Type of Shares: The type of shares issued as a result of the financing event.

  • Price Per Share: The price per share for the share class from the financing event.

  • Fund: The name of the Fund entity that holds these securities.

  • Issue Date: The issue date of the certificate. Usually the same date as the close date of the financing event.

  • Investment Amount: The total cost of the investment in the financing event.


For Convertible investments

  • Fund: The name of the Fund entity that holds these securities.

  • Issue Date: The issue date of the convertibles. Usually the same date as the close date of the financing event.

  • Convertible Type: The type of convertible issued as a result of the financing event.

  • Investment Amount: The total cost of the investment in the financing event.
