1. Navigate to the relevant company by finding them in the portfolio dashboard or search feature

2. Once in an individual company, go to the 'Metrics' tab and scroll down to the 'Add Metric' button

3. Click the 'Add Metric' and select 'Custom Category' category label from the dropdown menu

4. Type the Metric name, select the data input type and press 'Confirm'

5. Once the custom metric has been added, you can enter the relevant details for the corresponding time period(s).
