This bulk action can be handy when dealing with groups that have the same option value and need to upload the same Image/Color Code for multiple groups, e.g., if you offer various products in a Black/White Pattern and wish to update the image across all the groups just follow the steps below.
Step 1: Download a sample CSV file
To download the sample CSV, navigate to the app dashboard and go to the
Product Groupssection.Click on

Step 2: Formatting the product CSV file
Your Bulk Update Swatch CSV file should meet the following criteria:
The first line of your product CSV file must contain the column headers, as shown in the sample file above
If you use Excel to edit your CSV, please remember to export the file in CSV format
Step 3: Importing CSV to upload swatches
Navigate to the Swatch King dashboard
Click on the
Product Groupstab in the side navigation bar.Click on
Bulk update swatchesdropdown andImport fileClick Add file, then select the CSV file you want to import.
Click on the
Importbutton and upload the CSV file
After uploading your CSV file, you will receive a confirmation email from StarApps Studio at the email account you used to set up your Shopify store. This email will contain details about how many swatches were updated and any errors if there are any.

Now that you have downloaded the template, you will find the following fields. Add relevant details according to your requirements.
Group Nameis the name you have given while creating the group. This is not a mandatory field.
Option Valueis the characteristics of each product (like Color: Red, Pink or Material: Cotton, Denim) that you want your customers to see.Example - If you offer multiple products in Black/White Pattern, to update the image across all the groups just add the image URL to the template.
Swatch color code / Image URLTo upload swatch images for your variants, you have two options: Hex Code or URL.Hex Code: Enter the desired color's Hex code into the provided field.
Uploading via URL: For URL-based uploads, ensure the URL is publicly accessible.
In case you want to update the colours regardless of the group, use the same format and leave the Group Name column blank. This will update the colour for the option values in all the groups.
