If you can’t attend a booked Stint due to illness, injury or any other reason, please cancel it in the app or message our Support Team via Live Chat as soon as possible.
By cancelling in the app, it means another Stinter can accept the opportunity. Please note that cancelling a Stint does not automatically submit a request for Statutory Sick Pay (SSP).
To request Statutory Sick Pay, please open Live Chat, select the 'SSP' option, and fill in the form.
If you are not able to access your Stint app, you or someone on your behalf must email Stint at sickness@stint.co with the following information:
Your email must include:
The date your sickness began.
Brief details of your sickness.
The date(s) of each booked Stint you have not been to or will not be able to attend.
Your best estimate of when you expect to be available for further Stints.
Additional requirements:
If you are absent for more than a week, you must also provide a medical certificate stating you are unfit for work and giving the reason.
If absence continues beyond the certificate's expiry, a further certificate is required.
Just a heads-up: If we don't receive your notice on time or with the correct details, we might not be able to pay you for the days before we heard from you. However, we will always take your circumstances into account if you had a good reason for the delay.
