How to manually overlock a unit

Learn how to overlock a unit and block access to the customer.

Updated over a week ago

In certain circumstances, you may wish to manually overlock the unit and restrict access to the customer. Here's how:

Select the unit you wish to change. Then select Edit Unit as below.

Select Overlocked from the Status drop-down menu.

The unit is now overlocked and the customer will not be able to access their unit whilst it remains as such.

Returning access

Should you wish to grant access back to the customer you can change the status back to Occupied by following the same steps as above.

You can also turn on auto-lock if you're using a Smart Entry system and wish for a unit to be automatically locked if a customer's payment fails. Learn more about auto-overlocking here.
