Customise your customer cancellation approach

Decide if customers can cancel directly or not.

By default Stora enables your customers to cancel their storage subscription directly by logging into their customer portal.

You can remove this button and the ability to cancel directly, and add your own text describing how customers can cancel.

By having customers contact you directly to cancel subscriptions, you can ensure better communication and potentially reduce churn.


How it works

Visit your Storefront Configuration page, where you'll find a section for the Customer portal set up. Follow these steps to disable the cancel option:

  1. Navigate to Storefront > Configuration in your Stora admin dashboard.

  2. Scroll down to the Customer portal setup section.

  3. Find the toggle option labelled Customers can cancel by logging in and switch it off.

  4. Optionally, update the text in the Subscription cancellation instructions box to provide alternative guidance to customers.

  5. Click Save changes at the bottom of the page to apply your updates.

For example, you could require 2 months' notice and ask customers to phone to cancel instead.
