This article explains how to update your invoice template in Stripe, including adding your VAT number, memos, and business details.
How to add a tax number to invoices
You can add your Tax number to all invoices within Stripe. Here's how:
Click the settings cog in the top right, then select Billing.
Select Invoices and scroll to Tax Information.
Choose your country and add your tax ID.
The tax number will now appear on all future invoices.
Adding memos
You can also add other information to your invoices, such as your bank account number for manual payments, in the Default Memo or Default Footer sections. Select Invoices, and you will be able to add these items.
Updating the invoice template and logo
Select Invoices.
Click Branding Settings to update the template and logo.
Update business details
You can update your business address, phone number or email address displayed on the invoices. This can be done by following these steps:
1. Click the settings cog in the top right, then select Business.
2. Select Business Details.
3. Scroll to Public details and click Edit to update your address, phone number, or email.
