What is the Homepage?
Your Homepage is the first page your customers will see on your Stora website. You can edit it from Storefront > Home page. Here, you can customise the contents of your home page. Below, we provide more details on each option available to you:
Homepage customisation options
Intro layout and content
Layout options - change the layout of the top section of your homepage.
Title - the large text that appears at the top of your homepage.
Subtitle - the supporting text that appears under your title.
Image - the main image that appears beside the text.
Intro video
Add the URL of a video hosted on YouTube, Vimeo or Facebook. This will add a link beside your main intro button for "Watch our video," which will launch a pop-up of your video.
Metadata
Customise the metadata associated with your home page. These appear in search engine results. It's best to optimise them for key search terms related to your business.
Emphasis box
Near the top of your homepage, show your business's unique selling point. This can be anything you want to draw attention to (e.g., 24-hour CCTV security).
Getting started section
Describe the steps of your booking and move-in process. The section can be turned off if desired, and you can remove/add more steps as required.
About section
Explain a little about your facility and what you provide. This is a great opportunity to sell more of your offering or help visitors get to know the people behind your business.
Use cases section
A section on your homepage where you can state three main use cases for your offering. For example, this could be moving house, business storage or students moving abroad.
Feature section
A fully customisable section for your home page which can be turned on to add whatever content you like. This could for the area you service or something else entirely. It's up to you!
Customer reviews
Display customer reviews on your Homepage to help your website visitors be confident in your offering. Learn how to add more Customer Review.
You can also add a URL for your customers to read more reviews about you on Google or elsewhere.
Key selling points
Display up to 4 points that help sell the benefits of your storage company.
These can be anything you feel stands out about the facility, e.g. All units on the ground floor, 50% off for the first 2 months, app entry system.
