Action nudges can help boost sales by drawing attention to specific unit types. These nudges serve as subtle prompts or reminders that guide potential customers towards making a purchase. They effectively leverage psychological triggers, encouraging a sense of urgency or desire, which can contribute to a higher conversion rate and increased sales.

How to set up Action Nudges

Setting up Action Nudges for your unit types is a breeze. Follow these steps to make the most of this feature:

  1. Log in to your Stora account and navigate to Site > Unit Types.

  2. Select the Unit Type you want to add a nudge and click on the Edit Unit Type button.

  3. Scroll to the bottom and you will see the Action Nudge panel. Turn it on.

  4. Choose from the list of predefined Action Nudges or create your own custom nudge message.

  5. Save your changes, and the nudge will be automatically displayed on your Storefront.

Where action nudges appear on your Storefront

Action nudges are now integrated across your Storefront, appearing wherever a unit type is featured. When active, you'll find them on the site page, unit type page and any lead or booking form.

Here are the built in Action Nudges that are tailored to entice customers to make a selection:

  1. Hurry, Selling Fast: Create urgency by informing customers that specific unit types are in high demand.

  2. Low Availability: Highlight unit types with limited availability to create a sense of exclusivity.

  3. Last Few Units Left: Instil a fear of missing out by showcasing that only a limited number of units are available.

  4. Most Popular: Showcase unit types that are trending or frequently chosen by other renters.

  5. Recommended: Offer personalised recommendations based on customer preferences and needs.

  6. Free Welcome Gift: Sweeten the deal by promoting certain unit types with a complimentary welcome gift.

  7. Custom nudge: Enter your own text then choose an icon and a colour to draw attention to it.

By strategically using these custom nudges, you can create a sense of urgency, guide customer decisions, and ultimately increase sales at your self-storage facility.

We recommend using them sparingly, as too many nudges in a list of unit types will mean the visitor's attention is being drawn in multiple directions.
