Learn how to delete a unit from the Backoffice.

Managing your self-storage units efficiently is crucial for your business. There may be times when you need to delete a unit from your list. This article will guide you through the process of deleting a unit.


Deleting a unit from the unit list

  1. Navigate to the units list: Go to the Site section in the side menu, then select Units. This will take you to your list of units.

  2. Unit options menu: Click on the 3 dots associated with that specific unit.

  3. Delete the unit: Click the 3 dots, and a menu will appear. Click on Delete unit. You will be prompted to confirm your decision.


Deleting a unit from the unit page

  1. Go to unit page: Navigate to the unit you wish to delete by going to Site > Units. Click on the unit to open its detailed view.

  2. Unit options menu: Within the unit view, locate the 3 dots on the top right of the page. Click on this icon to bring up a list of actions you can perform on this unit.

  3. Delete the unit: From the actions list, select Delete unit. You will be prompted to confirm your decision.

Deleting a unit from the unit type page

  1. Navigate to unit type page: Go to the Site section in the side menu, then select Unit Types. This will take you to your list of unit types.

  2. Click unit type: Select which unit type you wish to view. You will be brought to the unit type page and will see a list of units.

  3. Unit options menu: Click on the 3 dots associated with a specific unit in the list.

  4. Delete the unit: Upon clicking the ellipsis icon, a menu will appear. Click on Delete unit. You will be prompted to confirm your decision.


Important consideration

Units can only be deleted if they are unallocated. This helps prevent potential data loss and ensures that active subscriptions are not inadvertently disrupted.
