Learn how you can action Storefront leads with Prospects.

Updated over 5 months ago

When visitors to your Stora Storefront submit any form other than your booking form, they will appear in Stora as Prospects. This is a dedicated area where you can quickly and easily decide what you want to do with each submission.

If a prospect has previously submitted or provided fake contact details, you can archive them or delete them with a click.

If they’re a new opportunity, you can convert them to a Deal and add them to your sales pipeline, where they can be managed and converted to customers from there.

Prospects

To view your prospects, go to CRM > Prospects. All prospects will appear in a list, with the most recent at the top. You’ll see the high-level submission data, such as any storage selected and what form they submitted. It also highlights if the prospect already has a deal, subscription or other prospect submissions.

Prospect actions:

  • Convert to Deal - Move the prospect to your deal pipeline, choosing what stage to add them to and who is responsible. This will auto-remove them from the Prospects list.

  • Archive - This will archive a prospect so they don’t appear when the Status: To review filter is active. You can see archived prospects by setting the filter to Status: Archived.

You can quickly delete a prospect from the list by clicking the three dots icon on any row.

Note: Deleting a prospect does not delete the contact associated with them, either.

Prospect Page

If you select a prospect in the list, you will be brought to the Prospect page for more information on this particular prospect. From here, you can:

  • Convert to Deal - This will move along a prospect to the deal pipeline.

  • Archive - This will archive a prospect so they don’t appear when the Status: To review filter is active. You can see archived prospects by setting the filter to Status: Archived.

  • Create a subscription - create a subscription for this Prospect

  • Create a deal - add a new deal for this prospect.

  • Other prospects - See any other form submissions of this prospect.

Converting to a Deal

When you press Convert to Deal, you’ll see a pop-up with the following options:

  • Deal name - This is auto-generated from the contact’s name. You can change it to anything you like.

  • Stage - Select any stage from your existing deal pipeline.

  • Assignee - Which team member is taking responsibility for the deal?

Here, you can easily rename a deal, choose which stage it should appear on, and assign it to one of your co-workers. When you select Convert to Deal, the deal will be moved to the Deals section.

Good to know:

  • A contact is always created for any form submission if the contact does not already exist. If they do exist, all prospects will be associated with the contact.

  • When you delete or archive a prospect, the contact remains.

  • You cannot add a prospect via the Backoffice. You should add any other potential customers directly to your Deals pipeline instead.
