You may wish to disable the Direct Debit payment option on your invoices, as this is an option that only pays that invoice. (This does not effect the ability to create Direct Debit paying subscriptions from your back office or Storefront).

1) Go to Stripe Settings > Billing > Invoices as below:

2) Scroll down to the Default payment terms option, and select Manage.

3) You can toggle off the Direct Debit option.
