Reset or change customer PIN codes

If you’re using a smart entry system that utilises PIN codes, you can now change customer PINs directly from the Stora Backoffice.

Currently, this feature is compatible with PTI .dat, Bearbox, Spiderdoor, Paxton Net 2, and Opentech systems

This feature is useful in situations where a customer forgets their PIN, wants a new one for personal reasons — or prefers something more memorable.

To change a PIN just navigate to the Contact Details screen, select 'Change' if they have a PIN code. From here you can either generate a random new PIN, or set a custom one.
