We know that contracts are a critical part of your business, and this guide will walk you through everything you need to know about the Stora contract feature. The process is both easy for you and your customers.
How to get your contract in place
Provide your contract to your onboarding representative or our support team. Please be sure to take note of the following criteria to ensure a smooth setup.
Send the contract document complete, formatted and ready to use. (If using multiple documents, these must be combined before sending through.)
Take note of the data that can automatically populate for the customer and ensure enough space is available in the contract document, which is;
a. Full Name
b. Address
c. Mobile number
d. Email Address
Site information that can be automatically populated;
a. Site Name
b. Site Address
We can add fields to allow customers to sign in at the designated place, add dates and add extra information as required.
How to check the status of your contracts
Once contracts have started to be issued, it's always good to keep track of any outstanding contracts left to be signed and check which of your customers have signed them. The steps below show how this can be done:
Head over to your Contract section (Subscriptions > Contracts)
From here, you will see all of your issued contracts. You can use the Status button to filter to show only the following:
Pending
Signed
Voided
Declined
All
Voiding a contract
Sometimes, you may need to void and resend a contract to be re-signed. To do this, follow the steps below:
Head over to your Contract section, next to the customer's name, use the ... button
Now you can use the Void contract button
That's it. The contract has now been voided.
💡 It's only possible to void a pending contract. A contract that has already been signed cannot be voided.
Reissuing a contract
If you need to reissue a contract, you can do this within the Subscription screen.
Go to Subscriptions and search for the customer
Select the ... button and then Issue contract
