Contracts are getting a major upgrade in Stora. Here's everything you need to know about getting early access.

We know that contracts are a critical part of your business, and we’ve been working hard to improve the way you manage them in Stora.

We’re excited to announce that we’ve made significant progress and are starting to roll out our improved contract system!

This guide will walk you through everything you need to know to get early access.


What You Need to Know

  1. Migrating Your Existing Contracts
    To use the new system, we’ll need to migrate your current contract(s) over. Don’t worry — although this is a manual process, our team will handle everything for you at no extra cost.

  2. No Additional Costs
    This feature is included in all Stora plans, so there’s no additional charge. Plus, you’ll be able to cancel your current eSignature service once you switch to our built-in solution.

  3. How to Get Started
    Simply reach out to us, and we’ll add you to the migration list. Once your contracts have been moved over, we’ll let you know. From there, you can activate the new contract feature directly from the Check-in screen in your Stora Backoffice.


How the New System Works

The process will stay familiar for your customers—they’ll still need to sign a contract when they make a booking. However, the experience will now be smoother and more efficient for both you and them.

  • Automatic Updates: The system will automatically mark contracts as signed, so you’ll always know when it’s complete.

  • Visibility: You’ll be able to see and download signed contracts directly within Stora.

  • Flexibility: You can assign different contracts to different units or locations.

  • Coming soon: very soon you’ll be able to block move-ins until a contract is signed, giving you even more control.

  • Time-Saving: We’ll pre-fill your customers’ contact information into the contract, making the process faster and easier.

  • Access to Documents: Customers can view and download their signed contracts directly from their accounts, keeping everything simple and accessible.


A Few Final Notes

  • Legacy Contracts: Any contracts that were sent before using the new system will still need to be marked as signed manually.

  • Phasing Out Old Contracts: We will eventually phase out the old contract system, so you’ll want to start using the new system as soon as possible.
