Uploading a new deal
To upload a new deal, click the Add New Deal button located at the top of the screen. After clicking this button, users are prompted to fill out the following information.
Deal Information: Here users can fill out the deal name, structure type, borrower, and description. The Deal Reference Data can also be input at this stage. Items such as industry, transaction purpose, and unique identifiers will sync here. The type of execution and base currency will be set to a default value unless selected otherwise.
Please note that there are required fields in this step including Deal Name, Borrower, Industry, EBITDA, and Sponsor. These fields are important for characterizing a deal to more effectively use tools like Negotiator.
Negotiator: After entering key deal data in step one, users can immediately review deals of similar structures based on EBITDA, Industry, Sponsor and Execution Date. Expand the filters to match more deals. Click on the next button to upload files associated with the deal.
Data Room: Here, users can drag & drop their files into the allotted space. Once loaded, exit out of the pop-up window to fill out the file information. Select the most relevant Agreement Type listed in the dropdown menu. Hit save at the bottom left of the screen. A message will pop up when the deal and files have been successfully uploaded. Users will also receive a confirmation of the uploads via email.
Note: Street Diligence now supports Word documents along with PDF files. Refer to this list for the types of agreements we accept.
Analyzing Documents
For a standard credit agreement, our document analysis typically takes 24 hours. Once the analysis is complete, users receive an email notification that the analysis is ready to view on our platform.

Uploading documents to existing deals
After locating the deal(s) that need to be updated (either through Deal Manager or global search), switch over to the Data Room tab to upload the respective files. After the documents are processed, users will receive a notification via email and the analysis will populate and/or update within the existing deal.
