Learn how to upload a new deal and upload documents into an existing deal

Uploading a new deal

To upload a new deal, click the Add New Deal button located at the top of the screen. After clicking this button, users are prompted to fill out the following information.

  1. Deal Information: Here users can fill out the deal name, structure type, borrower, and description. In order to advance to the next step, you must add a deal name and borrower. The Deal Reference Data can also be input at this stage. Items such as industry, transaction purpose, and unique identifiers will sync here. The type of execution and base currency will be set to a default value unless selected otherwise.

  2. Data Room: Once filling out the required data in the deal information, users are then taken to the data room to upload documents related to the new deal.

After filling out the relevant data and loading files in the data room, hit save. A notification will be received upon successful submission. Once a deal has been created, users can share, assign, follow, and track the progress of processing all within the deal page.

Please Note: Only PDF documents are currently accepted at Street Diligence. Refer to this list for the types of agreements we accept.

Analyzing Documents

For a standard credit agreement, our document analysis typically takes 24 hours. Once the analysis is complete, users receive an email notification that the analysis is ready to view on our platform.

Uploading documents to existing deals

After locating the deal(s) that need to be updated (either through Deal Manager or global search), switch over to the Data Room tab to upload the respective files. After the documents are processed, users will receive a notification via email and the analysis will populate and/or update within the existing deal.
