Buyer Managing Viewings (Desktop)

From within their Street account, buyers can manager their viewings by accepting or declining viewings, leaving feedback and making offers.

When a buyer logs into their Street account they can click their the Buyer dropdown and then select Viewings which is broken down into three sections: Upcoming, completed and cancelled.

Upcoming Viewings

The upcoming viewings tab shows any viewings that are upcoming, including both confirmed and unconfirmed viewings.

Note - Provisional viewings will not show in the buyer's Street account.

If the viewing is unconfirmed the buyer has the option to decline (optionally suggesting other dates or times) or accept the viewing.

If the viewing is confirmed the buyer has the option to click the 'manage' button, allowing them to add the appointment to their calendar (this will download a .ics file which can be imported into their calendar). Additionally, buyers can cancel their viewing and give a reason as to why.

Note - Buyers can only cancel viewings if there is sufficient notice based on your Global Online Bookings settings. If the viewing is within the hours notice you require, buyers will not be able to cancel and will instead be prompted to call your branch.

If the buyer cancels a viewing, you will receive an on screen message in Street, a notification in your notification centre as well as an email to the branch email address. The status of the viewing will update to 'cancelled' and the 'viewing cancelled' notifications will be sent out to the relevant parties, if toggled on in your notification preferences.

Finally buyers can click the 'show additional information' button to see the details of the property, open the location in Google Maps, see the Street property public page or book a valuation.

Complete Viewings

Within the Complete Viewings tab buyers can review any past viewings as well as leave / view feedback and make offers.

Leave / View Feedback

Clicking the leave feedback button gives the option to add written feedback as well as a rating on the price of the property.

Note - If a buyer submits feedback through their Street account it will be sent directly to your agency to review, and not to the property owner.

Clicking the view feedback button lets buyers review previously submitted feedback as well as a prompt to book a valuation.

Make an Offer

Finally buyers can click the make offer button, adding how much they are offering as well as any notes.

It's also important to highlight that when a buyer submits an offer, it doesn't go directly to the owner. Instead it goes into your Street account for you to review before deciding whether to relay to the owner and accept / reject the offer. For more information, see our Accepting a Sales Offer help article.

Cancelled Viewings

The cancelled heading shows any viewings that were cancelled, either by the applicant, agency or owner, as well as any viewings rejected by the owner. The buyer cannot interact with these viewings any further, these are stored for informational purposes only.

Street is constantly being updated. This can mean that some of these articles become slightly out of date. If you spot something that looks a little bit different to your Street account, please let us know on the live chat so we can get it updated!
