Listing a Property Without a Valuation Appointment
There may be occasions where you want to list a property without creating a valuation first, for example when migrating from your old CRM. In these situations you can use the Direct Instruction feature within Street.
A direct instruction skips the valuation stage entirely (meaning you don't need to book a valuation appointment or send the valuation report) and allows you to set up an instruction, with fees included, that then allows you to create a listing.
Creating a Direct Instruction
From a property page, click 'create' at the top right and select Direct Instruction.
Note - The 'direct instruct' option is only available for new properties that have not yet had a valuation or instruction created. Once a property has had a valuation or instruction, the option for direct instruction is removed.
Next you can complete the usual details required for an instruction by selecting sales or lettings (or both), instructed price as well as any upfront and completion fees. When ready you can create the instruction and can begin proceeding with the property onboarding workflow or making the listing available.
