What is the Valuation Template?

A valuation template is great to customise how your potential clients receive your valuations. A valuation report is what the customer will receive when you complete a valuation. Its best to keep this quite generic as it will be pulled through to each valuation you do on Street.

Don't worry about adding any specific details about properties in here as you will get the chance to add these in as your run through each valuation workflow. You may have previously had a valuation letter template set up, if so you can use that content here.

Creating/Editing your Valuation Template

To get started, head to Settings (left side panel at the bottom) > Branch Settings > Valuation Template.

Here you will see a variety of different text boxes. You can edit these to suit your branches needs.

  1. The first is the "Intro Message Template". This is the first portion of text the customer will see and would typically be a short introduction to your branch / agency.

  2. The second will be "Why Market Your Property With Us?". This is a great opportunity to tell the vendor why they should choose your agency to market their property with.

  3. The third is "Default URLS". This section lets you add links out to various pages that you want the vendor to see, for example a link to your website or your Google reviews. These will show as clickable buttons in the valuation report.

  4. The last is "Default Videos". Here you can add links to videos that you would like the vendor to have access to watch, such as a video introducing your branch staff or client testimonials. It's important that the video URL links are publicly accessible, ie on YouTube or shared file stored on the cloud.

Each valuer will also have the ability to add a a personal contact banner as long as their Profile Details are completed for their User account. Information on how to complete this can be found here.

When you're finished with all sections in the template, click 'save'.

How does the price and fee information pull through?

As this is property specific, the ability to edit this template in the valuation template is not visible. However, this will be clear to the client at the end of the report as seen below.

How does this pull through to the valuation workflow?

When you come to send your post-valuation report, your template will pull through however you can edit it and tailor it to your specific clients.
