How to rearrange and update appointments in Street

Rearranging Appointments in Street

There are a variety of ways to rearrange an appointment, depending on the type of appointment and what page in Street you are currently on.

When rearranging an appointment automated notifications may be sent your clients informing them, again depending on the type of appointment and if you have the notification enabled in your notification preferences.

Note - It is not possible to rearrange an appointment that has completed and is now in the past.

Rearranging from the Calendar page

One of the easiest ways to rearrange an appointment is directly from the calendar page. Head to your Calendar where you can simply drag and drop any existing event to a new date/time, or even a new user. Alternatively you can click on an existing event and click the pencil icon at the top right.

From there you will see a popup for editing the event to confirm the new date, time and visiting agent and can save from there.

Note - When rearranging a viewing from the calendar, you will be asked if you need request confirmation from the agent, applicant and vendor/tenant again. If you do not need to request confirmation, you can untick these which will automatically confirm the viewing.

Rearrange from an appointment directly

The other option is to rearrange from the appointment directly, which can be more convenient if you are already on that page.

From a viewing or valuation page you will see the rearrange button on the right hand side in the booking details card while photo and measures can be rearranged from the property page, using the rearrange button under the 'Photo & Measure Booking' card on the right hand side.

From here you will be taken to the calendar page to select a new date/time/user to carry out the appointment, seeing the usual suggested slots and user availability.

Inspections can be rearranged from the inspection page itself using the rearrange button under the booking confirmation details. Inventory and key collections can be rearranged from the lettings application page, from the inventory or move in tiles while check outs and key returns can be rearrange from the move out page, from the checkout report and keys tiles. For these appointment types, you will see a simplified calendar view to choose the assignee, date and time.

Automated Notifications

It's important to remember that when rearranging a viewing, valuation or photo and measure appointment, the involved parties will receive an automated email confirming the new date and time, if these are enabled in your notification preferences.

All other appointments do not send an automated rearranged notification.
