It's important that your whole team are ready to start using Street prior to going live. We advise getting your team stuck in as soon as possible, giving plenty of opportunity to ask us any questions whilst your account is in setup mode.

We will provide you access to a Shared Question Document via Google Doc which will give you the opportunity to add questions to throughout onboarding. Your onboarding specialist will be notified when you add to this document, and can answer your questions on the same document for you - which is particularly useful as a reference point and knowledge base throughout the onboarding process.

Streetwise Training Videos

We have a whole suite of training videos available in your Street accounts under the "StreetWise" tab. These videos are designed to get you familiar with the different features and functionality in Street. You'll never lose access to the videos so you can refer back whenever needed. You can track yours and your team's progress and these videos can be watched in both the live and sandbox account.

Note - We are constantly updating the system to give you the best user experience therefore there might be some slight differences between the videos and your account but you will still learn a lot!

Help Centre

We encourage you throughout your training to make use of and refer back to the Help Centre within Street. This is accessible from both your sandbox and live account, and has been organised into Collections and is searchable if you're looking for a specific topic. We are constantly developing the content within the help centre to best assist throughout your Street Journey as other functionality develops.

Sandbox Account

You will receive access to a "sandbox" account at the same time as getting access to your live account. Unlike your live account, you cannot do anything wrong in your sandbox! The sandbox account is not on the live server so no notifications will ever be sent out, no listing published to the portals etc.

We recommend giving your whole team access to the sandbox account to start having a play and practicing your processes. Adding dummy applicants, properties, valuations etc is a good way for your team to learn how to navigate Street in preparation for using the live account. We will cover showing you how to add addition users to your accounts as one of your initial settings.

We find that those who spend time in the sandbox, are much more prepared and comfortable when they come to using Street for real!

Training Tips and Ideas for your Sandbox

Go through the Settings panel. Depending whether you have admin access, it is a good idea to look at each tab in the settings panel - anything you do in your sandbox settings panel won't affect your live account. This article here will help you get going!

Add sales and lettings applicants along with their requirements. Explore the "Person" record, their "Applicant" record and the features / functionality of both.

Create a Property record, add an owner, create a listing (add images, descriptions, property details). This collection of articles will help if you get stuck!

Watch a StreetWise video and recreate the steps at the same time.

Book some appointments into your diary and explore the Calendar.

If you fancy a read through of some of our articles then please visit our Street Help Centre.

Street is constantly being updated. This can mean that some of these articles become slightly out of date. If you spot something that looks a little bit different to your Street account, please let us know on the live chat so we can get it updated!
