Block Viewings

Block Viewings (or Block Bookings) are a scheduling feature designed to streamline multiple viewing appointments into a single, pre-defined window. Instead of scattering viewings throughout the week, you can dedicate specific "blocks" of time to a property, maximizing efficiency and minimizing travel.

Setting up a Block Viewing

To create a block viewing on a property head to the property page and click Info > Settings.

Next click Viewings > Availability > and select 'block viewings only'.

From here you can begin adding dates for the block viewings to take place. Firstly select the date and times and then select which user will be carrying out the viewings.

Tip! You can set up unaccompanied block viewings by changing the assigned user to 'unaccompanied'.

Finally you need to decide what should happen when the block viewing dates have passed, choosing between doing nothing or changing to anytime.

If you choose to do nothing, you will be notified when your Block Viewings are full, or the dates have passed and you’ll need to manually update the availability. If you choose anytime there will be no restrictions of when viewings can be booked and, if online bookings are enabled, may result in viewings outside of office hours if unaccompanied viewings are also enabled.

With the block viewings set up, ensure you click 'save' at the bottom right of the availability page to save the changes. If you don't click save here, the changes won't be saved to the property.

With the block viewing saved, you will see a banner at the top of the property page showing the dates and times.

When booking a viewing for that property you will see the block viewing dates and times on the right hand side.

Additionally, the block viewing times will show on the calendar, both when booking a viewing and when viewing the general branch calendar in a black dotted outline, making it easy to manually book a viewing inside the block viewing times.

If you have online bookings enabled, applicants will only have the option of booking inside the block viewing times, ensuring everything is consistent.
