Window Cards

Window cards are generated from the property page directly however you will need a window card template setup to select from. For more information on how to create a template, see our Window Card Templates help article.

Generating a Window Card

To get started, head to the property page and click Create (at the top right) > Generate Window Card and select the template you want to use.

Note - If you are a multi branch network, this list will only show templates that have been created for your active branch. So if the template you are looking for doesn't show, or if you see a pop up telling you to create a window card template first, you can try changing your active branch by clicking your profile icon at the top right and selecting a branch from the list. Otherwise, head to settings and create a window card template.

Editing the Window Card

Once you've selected your template, you'll see the edit window card page where you can make any edits to that specific window card.

Choosing which photos are used

When a window card is first generated, it will by default use the first few photos as stored on the property photos page. However the photos being used can be changed by first clicking on the photo on the window card page and then selecting which photo to use from the 'edit content' panel that appears on the right hand side.

Editing the written content

As with photos, all of the written content can be edited by clicking on the text to open the same 'edit content' panel on the right hand side. From here, you can edit the formatting, font colour, as well as the actual written text itself. Once you've made the changes, make sure to click 'apply' to save the changes and the window card will update with.

When you are finished making edits, click the 'save' button at the top right to save the window card to the property.

Accessing a property's Window Cards

Once the window card has been saved, it will be stored in the property's documents and files pages, accessible from the property page via Info (at the top right) > Documents and Files.

From here, click Click the three dot menu on the right hand side of the window card and you'll see a few options.

Editing a window card

The edit option allows you to edit the name of the file (by default this will be 'property window card'), assign a file type for the property feed API and add a description to show in Street (by default this will be the name of the person who generated the window card).

You'll also have the option of making the window card available on your website by including it in the property feed API. By default this will be enabled for window cards.

Note - Once a window card has been saved, it is not possible to edit the actual content as it becomes a static file. Instead, you will need to generate a new window card. However, when selecting the same template, Street will automatically use the most recently created window card for that property as the template.

This means, when generating a new window card, you will get an exact copy of the window card you're looking to edit and can then make the necessary changes, such as updating the price if there's been a price reduction.

The copy link option will copy the public link to the window card, so you can share this online / via email / embed on your website if needed.

Note - The copy link option will only show if the 'make available on website' toggle is checked on the edit window card section, as the window card needs to be included in the property feed API to have a public link.

Download

You can download the window card to your computer using the download option, useful if you're looking to print it.

Share Settings

The share settings allow you to control whether the window card file should display in the owner's Street account (via app or desktop).

Delete

If you need to delete a window card altogether, select 'delete' from the dropdown menu.
