Scheduling an Inspection

Once an inspection has been created, and has the status of 'Need to Book', you can schedule the inspection date and time. Typically at this stage, you may want to reach out to the tenants to confirm their availability.

Head to the inspection page where you can select which user will be doing the inspection and use the calendar to select a date and time. When choosing the inspector, their diary will appear for the chosen day, so you can quickly see what availability they have.

When ready to proceed, click the 'Schedule Inspection' button and the inspection will be scheduled in. The status will now update to 'Unconfirmed'.

It's important to note that at this stage, the inspection is not booked (and the tenants will not have received any automated notifications). If you haven't already spoken with the tenants to confirm their availability, now would be a good time to do so, before confirming the inspection.

Next Step

Once an inspection has the status of 'Unconfirmed', the next step is to confirm the inspection.
