Why Aren't My Items Coming Up When I Search for Them?

Objective

Ensure that your items are showing up when searching in your Company Items and creating a material order or requisition.

Background

If items that you know are in your database are not coming up when you search for them, it is likely because too much data has been cached to your browser. Cached data is information stored on your computer or device after you visit a website. The goal of cached data is to speed up site loading. Though this is helpful in many cases, it also impedes your device from successfully loading new data. Clearing your cached items will clear up space so that your browser can successfully load new information.

Steps:

  • Clear cached data (aka, "hard web browser refresh) in Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Mozilla Firefox

    • CTRL+SHIFT+R

  • Clear cached data in Apple Safari

    • CMD+SHIFT+R
