Objective

How to Remove a Project (Inactivate) from StructShare.

Background

StructShare allows you to create Material Requests, RFQs, Purchase Orders, Rental Orders and Return Orders for all 'Active' Projects. If you wish to remove a Project from this list, you need to set the Project as 'Not Active' in the 'Projects' screen.

Things to Consider

  • Admin Permission is required to mark a project as 'Not Active'.

  • Projects can be set back to 'Active' at any time.

Steps:

  • Click on the StructShare 'S' icon at the top of the screen to open up the menu bar.

  • Click on 'Projects' which will bring you to the Projects screen

  • Search for the Project Name or Number in the search bar or scroll to find the project you wish to mark as 'Inactive'

  • Select the pencil icon next to the Project

  • Click onto 'Project Setup'

  • Check 'Mark Project as Not Active'

  • Update

  • This Project will still be visible in the Project screen for Admin users but it will not be an available option as a Project to request or order materials for.
