Capturing Marks
Marks are captured from within My Courses. Each course or module must therefore have an assessment (Exam or assignment).
To Capture marks, navigate to My Courses and View the module or course you would like to mark
Select Qualification or Short Course and then Campus (if more than one).
Navigate to the tab: Assessments and select the correct Group. Here you will be presented with all assessments.
In line with the Attempt (1, 2, etc.) click on Options and select Capture Marks from the drop down list
Enter the marks and click on Save
Note:
The red notification above informs you that the assessment attempt has not been published, which means, the student will not be able to see his or her result, until it is published.
If the mark field shows grey or inaccessible, this is a result of Staff Access Control which needs to be edited.
