How to add Assessments to your group

Step 1 - for the given campus select the assessments tab, with the correct group selected, under List of Assessments, select Options > Add Assessment.

Step 2 - Once the Add Assessment modal loads choose the appropriate configuration and label assessment as desired, use the information below for clarity :

  1. Assessment Mode - Is this a theory or practical assessment?

  2. Assessment Method - Are you going to use a Mark, Rating or Competency to grade the assessment?

  3. Assessment Name - What name would you like to give the assessment which staff and students would easily understand?

  4. Assessment Code - Choose a 4 character code for the assessment which will identify the Assessment

  5. Assessment Time Limits (Minutes) - If this were an online assessment, how long would a learner have to complete the assessment once they have started it?

  6. Assessment Total - How much will this assessment out of?

  7. Assessment Weighting Percentage - How much (what percentage) will this assessment contribute to the final grade of the learner?

  8. Assessment First Attempt Date - When will this assessment be written for the first time? will it be on a single day or within a given period?

  9. Allow File Uploads If Online - If this was set to an online assessment, will learners be allowed to upload files?

Step 3 - Select Save to commit the changes i.e. to create the assessment

Step 4 - Once the assessment is saved, it will appear in the list off assessments
