A useful method of working with the learning content that you would like to link to a page is to store it in the central place and then link to the page. This is for all content except if you are uploading a PDF to split and turn into pages.

There are a couple of benefits to this, the main is that you are able to have a central resource store that staff can link to so that you don't need to continuously upload the same resources if you need to use them across different modules of courses.

There are other places where you can store resources in the system but for this example, we are going to work with resources on the main menu you can access this by selecting More and on the drop-down select Resources.

N.B. If you do not currently have access to this resources tab please ask your system administrator to update your system access under your employee profile so that you have access to the resources tab under is your specific campus.

Once Resources loads, select your campus

We will now add a folder, the goal is to create a folder directory that is Courses > "Your Course" > eLearning Content.

We start with selecting Add Folder and then adding the name Courses

You will notice that the folder navigation bar has extended from Home to Home / Courses

We then add another folder with the name of the course so that the folder navigation bar extends from Home / Courses to Home / Courses / "Your Course", in my example this is Home / Courses / The Internet (TI01)

Within "Your Course", we will then add an e-learning folder so that the folder navigation will now extend to include e-learning content.

Just so that you are aware, if you wanted to navigate backwards, i.e. out of your current folder, just click on the name of the folder you want to go to. If you want to go all the way out of the folders, select Home on the folder navigation bar.

You want to be able to create folder navigation similar to the one below. The goal is to have Courses > "Your Course" > e-Learning Content. So that you have everything you need in one place.

With that in place, we will now continue to work through the rest of the e-Learning chapter, starting with Working with Text content.
