Working with video incident manager we have the option for you to link a video from a streaming platform, by streaming platform we mean a system like Vimeo or YouTube.
For this example we going to work with a video from YouTube.
I have this share link from a video of a video on YouTube
https://youtu.be/C9zXRrtmTJ8
when I copy and paste this link into my web browser it then goes directly to video's YouTube playback window
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C9zXRrtmTJ8&feature=emb_logo
I can now copy this address and use it in Student Manager
Step 1 -
On the page which you want to add the video, ensure you have the appropriate reference number in on the page, e.g. {5}
Select Add Links
Step 2 -
Paste the URL you copied with the "/watch?" in it and give it a title and select save
Step 3 -
Save the page and once the pages is saved the video will display
Now that all the pages content is ready for the learner you can make sure that the page is visible by selecting change at the top of the page choosing a date the learners should be able to view the page from
