How to: use collections (teachers)

Organise questions into different groups for easy access.

Updated over 4 months ago

Collections are a great way to group exam questions for different purposes, such as:

  • Homework assignments

  • Questions by difficulty

  • Questions by subtopic

Use them for your own teaching or with your class to easily access the questions you want without having to click through topics and scroll each time to find what you need.

Creating a collection

1. Head to any topic page and navigate to the 'Questions' tab.

To add a question to a collection, click the three dots to the right of the question and click the 'Add to collection' button.

2. Each user automatically has one collection pre-made, called 'Questions to revisit'. You can easily add questions to this, or if you have something more specific in mind, click 'New collection' to add a new one.

Tip!

You can use our question search/filter at the top of the page to search for specific keywords, exam year or question numbers. Find out more about question filtering here.

3. If you want to add more than one question from a topic to a collection, click 'Add multiple questions', allowing you to quickly select more than one question on that topic page.

4. Once you've selected all the questions in a topic you'd like added to your collection, click 'Add to collection' and select the collection you want them added to.

Accessing & editing your collections

How to find your collections

Your collections can be found in the menu (found in the top-left side of the screen)

Or, by scrolling down to the bottom of your homepage, on the left-hand side of the screen. Your collections are previewed here, too!

Editing your collection

You can make changes to your collection, such as renaming it, changing the order of questions, adding/removing questions, and deleting the collection entirely, by heading to your collections and clicking the three dots beside a question, or beside the collection name.

Print/download or share your collection

Print/download your collection

Click the print icon beside your collection name to open a menu that lets you choose to print your collection or download it as a PDF.

You can choose to only print/download the questions, marking schemes, or both combined.

Share your collection

Hit the share icon as seen below to get a URL to share via your preferred platform, or directly to WhatsApp.

Tip!

You can share a collection with your class by copying the URL. Your students can then save this collection to their own Studyclix account.

(Their access to questions will depend on their upgrade/plan)
