Our 'Collections' feature is a handy way to organise past exam questions into customised categories, helping you stay organised and track questions you'd like to practise more.
Similar to our 'Exam Builder' feature for teachers, collections can be used by students to put together an exam-style assessment to print out and test themselves.
Creating a collection
Navigate to a list of exam questions in the topic of your choosing.
Adding a single question to a collection
You can click this icon above a question to add it to a collection:
Once you click it, you'll open a window asking you to select or create a collection where you can add the question.
Each user automatically has one collection pre-made, called 'Questions to revisit'. You can easily add questions to this, or if you have something more specific in mind, click 'New collection' to add a new one.
Tip!
You can use our question search/filter at the top of the page to search for specific keywords, exam year or question numbers. Find out more about question filtering here.
Adding multiple questions from a topic to a collection
If there are a few questions in a topic you want to add to a collection, click the collections icon in the top toolbar on the page (instead of the icon above the individual question).
This will add a checkbox beside each question, so you can quickly scroll down and pick multiple questions to add to a collection in one go.
Tip!
Save time and choose 'select all questions' to add them all in one click!
Finding collections later
You can click into and manage your collections from the homepage. Make edits such as removing questions or changing the position of the questions in your collection using the drag and drop tool.
Tip!
You can also find your collections in the menu by clicking the three horizontal lines in the top-right-hand side of the screen.
Editing your collection
You can make changes to your collection, such as renaming it, changing the order of questions, adding/removing questions, and deleting the collection entirely, by heading to your collections and clicking the three dots beside a question or beside the collection name.
Printing/downloading or sharing a collection
Print/download
Click the print icon beside your collection name to open a menu that lets you choose to print your collection or download it as a PDF.
You can choose to only print/download the questions, marking schemes, or both combined.
