Processing a change order through Sunlight Financial is a straightforward procedure designed to accommodate updates in system design, pricing, or loan selection. This guide outlines each step, from unfinalizing the original quote to adding a new loan and finalizing the revised proposal, ensuring a seamless experience for both you and your customer.
Follow the steps below to process a change order for a proposal financed with Sunlight Financial.
Step 1: Scroll down to the financing section of the proposal and select “Unfinalize” on the finance card.
Step 2: The button changes to white, indicating the proposal has been unfinalized and is ready for a system design change order.
Step 3: Scroll back up to make your design updates. You can also change the pricing by adjusting other proposal elements such as adders and battery storage.
Step 4: Post the completion of your updates, scroll back down to the financing section of your proposal.
Step 5: Select your new product and click “Add Loan”.
Step 6: A new quote will be added next to your original quote.
Step 7: Click “Finalize” on your new quote.
Step 8: The finalize button will turn yellow and read “Unfinalize”. You can now send out the new contract docs for your customer to sign digitally, completing the change order process.
