Admins can assign HVAC systems to multiple categories, such as Good, Better, and Best.
When creating a proposal, an HVAC can only be added to one category at a time. However, if multi-category visibility is enabled, the same HVAC will appear in multiple dropdowns (e.g., both Good and Better) until it is selected for a specific category.
For example, if an HVAC is assigned to both Good and Better, it will appear in both dropdowns initially. Once it’s selected under Good, it will no longer be available in the Better dropdown.
Follow the steps below to select multiple categories for HVACs in your database.
Step 1: From the main menu, open the “Manage Database” dropdown and click “Database”.
Step 2: Open the “HVAC” dropdown and click “HVACs”.
Step 3: Locate the HVAC you wish to update and click the “View Detail” icon.
Step 4: Click “Edit”.
Step 5: In the “Categories” dropdown, select which categories the HVAC should be added to.
Step 6: Click “Update” to save the changes.
