The Funding option in projects is designed to provide additional financial support to an ongoing project, ensuring that work continues smoothly without interruptions due to lack of funds. This feature helps project managers and teams manage cash flow effectively, keep timelines on track, and avoid unnecessary project delays.
You can grant access to edit or view access to users for the funding section.
Note: If the project manager only has view access, they can only view the funding and not edit it. If both settings are disabled, they won't be able to see anything in the funding section.
Step 1: Click “Users” and go to “User Profiles” from the main menu.
Step 2: Locate the user for whom you want to enable the funding settings and click the “View Detail" icon.
Step 3: Scroll down to the “Projects” section.
Step 4: Here, you will see two settings- “View Funding Tab” and “Edit Funding Tab”.
Step 5: If you want the user to only be able to view the funding tab, enable the “View Funding Tab” toggle.
Step 6: If you want to provide edit access to the user as well, enable the “Edit Funding Tab” toggle.
Once configured, the selected user will have the appropriate level of access to manage project funding as needed.
