A "Project" is created when a customer is sold and signed and is ready to move to operations for installation.
Convert a customer to a project:
Step 1: Under the “Customers” tab, select the customer whose proposal is ready to be converted into a project.
Step 2: Click on the "View Details" button to view the proposal details
Step 3: Change the status of the proposal to "Closed Won Document Signed"
Step 4: Select "Yes" to change the proposal stage to "Closed Won Document Signed".
*Your Organization may require certain fields or attachments to be filled out before moving to Closed Won - Documents Submitted.*
Step 5: After clicking “Yes”, your Proposal will automatically get converted into a project. To view this project, click on the "Go To Project Detail" button on the top left.
Step 6: Now that your project is created, you will see the stages of the job and all your customer’s information. Throughout the rest of your customer's project, you will come here to see updates.
Note: You can view the customer details in the “Contact Details” section and the details of the project owner and team in the “Owner & Team Info” section of the Projects tab.
Note: If a project’s stage is set to On Hold or Canceled, you can now edit stage fields and contact details.
Note: You can now edit project fields even if the project review fails, allowing you to make necessary updates without reinitiating the review process.
Note: Completed projects will now be highlighted with a green-colored status tab for easier identification.
Note: The Project Details section has been reorganized into a horizontal tab layout. Information that was previously shown in a vertical view, such as project details, financial summary, equipment summary, and contact details, is now neatly separated into tabs for easier navigation and improved clarity.
Note: When “Stage Automation” is enabled in Settings, tasks that were previously shown under individual stage tabs are now moved to the Project Details section. Tasks will appear aligned with their corresponding job stage within the project.
Note: From the task list on the Project Details page, you can now add notes and upload multiple attachments to each task after it’s created.
