In-line report editing allows users to quickly update specific fields within a report directly from the report view. This feature is especially useful for making fast changes to project-related data without opening the full report editor. Users can edit components like site survey notes or schedule details. However, this feature must first be enabled by an account manager. Once enabled, users can access and update editable fields directly within the report interface, using simple tools like the pencil icon to make quick adjustments.
Note: Please note that editing reports requires prior permission. In-line editing must be enabled by your account manager before any changes can be made.
Step 1: From the side panel, go to “Reports and Dashboard” and click on “Reports”.
Step 2: Select the report you want to edit (make sure it is of the project type).
Step 3: Look for editable fields like “Site Survey Complete”, “Site Survey Notes”, or “Site Survey Schedule.”
Step 4: Hover over the field you want to update. Click the pencil-shaped edit icon to make changes.
Step 5: Type your updates directly into the field. Your changes will be saved automatically.
