How to Enable Ensite Site Survey

Updated over 2 months ago

Integrating Ensite with SubcontractorHub is the first step—but to use it within proposals, your organization must also enable the Ensite Site Survey setting. Without this setting turned on, the “Schedule Site Survey” button will not appear in your proposals, even if the integration is complete.

This article walks you through how to enable the Ensite Site Survey setting so your team can start scheduling site surveys directly from closed-won proposals.

Step 1: From the main menu, click your organization’s profile and select “Settings”.

Step 2: Go to the “Ensite Site Survey” section and click the “Edit” icon.

Step 3: Turn the “Enable Ensite Site Survey” toggle on to enable scheduling. Enter the email address of the recipient of your site survey schedule notifications.

Step 4: If you would like to exclude specific states from having access to Ensite, use the “Exclude States from Site Survey” dropdown. Select the states which you would like to restrict from using Ensite. When creating a proposal, if the proposal’s address matches an excluded state, the “Schedule Site Survey” button will not be visible after conversion to the “Closed Won-Documents Signed” stage.

Step 5: In the “Site Survey Scheduled Date” and “Site Survey Completion Date” fields, map the corresponding project fields. This allows data to transfer directly to the project once a site survey is scheduled and completed, automating manual data entry.

Step 6: Click “Update” to save your changes.

Note: If your account manager has already enabled the Brilliant Solar site survey provider for your organization, you will not be able to enable Ensite Site Survey. Only one site survey provider can be active at a time. To update your site survey provider, please contact your account manager.
