With SubcontractorHub’s AI features, users can opt to have AI identify fields and map them automatically into the template. The AI can identify fields, switch between recipients to assign fields accordingly, and more. Follow the steps below to use this feature.
Step 1: From the main menu, open the “Document Manager” dropdown and select “SubHub Templates”. Locate the template you want to map and click the “Mapping” icon.
Step 2: Click “Smart Map with AI”.
Step 3: Select the correct document and click “Submit”.
Step 4: The fields mapped by the AI will show up in grey. You can adjust the fields before clicking “Save And Close”.
Note: For documents that are more than a few pages long (e.g., 10 pages or more), the mapping process may take time. For these, you may initiate the process by clicking “Smart Map with AI”, and then return to the template later when the AI has processed the fields. You do not need to keep the template open while this process is ongoing. Click “Map Fields” to see the results.
Partial Document Mapping
When partial document mapping occurs, admins can map the remaining fields of the document without re-mapping the existing fields. Follow the steps below to do so.
Step 1: From the partially mapped document, click “Smart Map with AI”.
Step 2: Mark the “Partial Mapping (AI will map all fields, ignoring existing ones)” checkbox.
Step 3: The document mapping will proceed, mapping the remaining fields in the document.
